Chrome: Now that Pandora has lifted the listening cap, you can listen to Pandora all day if you want to without worry that you'll be cut off. If you listen in Chrome, the Pandora Desktop Notification add-on will show a desktop alert each time the song changes with who the artist is and what the song title is. That way, you'll never have to stop what you're doing and click over to the Pandora tab to see what you're listening to.
Pandora Desktop Notification ignores ads, so you won't see an alert when you hear one, and displays the song title, artist name, album title, and the cover art if it's available. Pandora One subscribers get a desktop player that does the same thing, but if you're still on the fence or don't want to drop the $36/year for Pandora One, this Chrome extension can give you one of the features that a paid subscription offers. However, if you want higher quality audio and ad-free listening, you'll want to spend the money.
